North America Solution Architect Manager

Job Description:

Arrow Intelligent Systems is looking for an experienced and motivated technical manager to coach, mentor and lead a team of technically skilled, customer-facing Solutions Architects. You will help develop our industries best Solutions Architects, by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation skills, as well as how to create and present architectures of our key vendors and vertical markets, varying in size and complexity. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of OEM and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities:

Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the global solutions architect community

Develop tight working relationship with Regional Sales teams in delivery and scheduling of field resources

Help develop business models to show customer ROI and business benefit from engineering resources

Provide advisor role and support to other Engineers, Field Application Engineers/Technical Support staff in areas of expertise and domain knowledge

Identify opportunities to reuse Arrow enterprise and shared technology services

Provide development and training of team on Vendor and Vertical Market Technologies

Work closely with product management and development engineering to drive delivery of technology roadmap related items by these teams, and give presentations on upcoming initiatives

Principal Accountabilities

Proven seasoned solutions professional with a deep understanding of design, development and integration.

You speed time to revenue for our customers and Arrow. You reduce the time from definition to deployment and remove obstacles or fix errors to delight the customer.

Adept at building Proof-of-Concept prototypes (both hardware and low level software)

Thrives in an agile and flexible environment where our commitments to customers reign supreme. You are consultative and collaborative.

Results-oriented, proactive, confident under pressure and demonstrated skills in solution selling.

Knowledge of design concepts & product certification basics (FCC, UL, TUV, CE)

Mechanical/Enclosure modeling or design experience desired

Able to create professional, visually impressive presentations with content appropriate for an intended audience

Experience at presenting slides to executive management or conveying concepts to hardware engineers

Strong leadership skills, planning, project management, excellent communication, virtual-team engagement, time management, are essential.

Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
