Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities

Supports a variety of supply chain service applications, including; electronic forecast sharing, EDI, auto-replenishment software, and the internal supply chain web site. Maintains an understanding of Arrow Supply Chain Process and associated business objectives.

● Support the initial setup of parameters of new accounts through a review of the Implementation Documentation. Evaluate new opportunities with the field to determine the appropriate implementation strategy to meet the supply chain engagement needs

● Collaborate with the Big Data team, IT, Business intelligence, and other departments using analytics to ensure that supply chain resources have an up to date understanding of how data is being leveraged throughout Arrow and to ensure supply chain resources are connected to others that can provide them with assistance or training required for data driven projects.

● Gain an understanding of the data available within various Arrows departments/divisions and identify possible areas where valuable data is not being collected or stored (trend data).Develop software and/or database analytics tools and applications in order to support complex supply chain business objectives and engagements.

● Works directly with SCSM(s), Demand Analysts, Asset Managers and Sales Teams to define the analytics needed to evaluate the ever changing customer and business needs for a successful supply chain engagement.

● Develop tailored training materials to support the use of analytical tools and applications. Serve as a key technical and knowledge resource for Supply Chain analytics tools deployment. Drive the establishment of new and improved supply chain analytics tools required to meet the needs of the industry. Develop process controls and procedures that define operational requirements and/or improvements in the support of Supply Chain analytics tools and applications.

● Develop software applications and analytics to assist SCSM’s, Demand Analysts and Sales Teams to review and analyze the performance of existing engagements and to support complex supply chain business objectives.

● Provide direct support and training to Supply Chain and branch personnel on the use of approved analytics software. Serve as a key technical and knowledge resource for supply Chain application development. As part of a development team, drives the establishment of new and/or improved supply chain applications tools required to meet the changing needs of the industry.

● Evaluate new opportunities, both internally and directly with customers, to determine appropriate implementation strategy and communicate as required with developers all programming necessary to meet that strategy and the needs of the supply chain engagement.

● Develop tailored training materials to support the use of Supply Chain Analytics tools and applications; provide branch (or group) training as required. Develop related documentation/procedures required in the support of all new supply chain analytics tools.
