EAD Technician I 1 - 2nd shift
Provides ongoing support to our customers by ensuring prompt, accurate and efficient delivery and receipt of all sales and purchase orders. Verifies and maintains records on all incoming and outgoing shipments. Data Entry using a PC to process orders and log inventory.
Description of Major Duties: 1.Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy of information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and or other records. 2.Visually inspects product looking for basic signs of counterfeit parts. 3.Extract items from staging rack and counts items to verify packaging and shipping accordingly. 4.Assembles cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers. 5.Inserts items into containers and binds containers 6.Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to proper departments. 7.Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from receiving. 8.Data entry on the PC to include processing orders and logging in/out inventory. 9.Bar-coding with bar-code scanner 10.Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping by following established safety procedures 11.Maintain required production and quality level
Qualifications: A high school diploma 2 years of recent distribution experience is required. Experience in shipping, receiving, and handling electronic components is preferred. Must have basic math skills, the ability to pay extremely close attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Able to stand and walk for a full 8 hour shift Able to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent communication and organizational skills required
