The purpose of the role is to provide efficient administrative support to the Human Resources Function. As the successful candidate you will join the Arrow HR Team at a period of exciting change and will form part of the HR Shared Services Team.
Duties will include but are not restricted to:
Updating HR Database (Workday) with all employee data changes (i.e. role, salary, manager etc.) and act as the Workday champion for the business.
Management of the HR inbox, including the actioning of requests and resolution or escalation of all queries
Logging of all sickness absence records, as well as being responsible for escalating when an individual’s levels of absence become unacceptable.
Assisting with HR Administration queries from employees/ managers: particularly those relating to Workday, issuing passwords, amending holiday requests and entitlements
End to end management of the New Starter process including production of contracts and offer letters, the input into various HR systems.
End to end management of the Leaver process including the production of the confirmation letter and notifying the relevant areas of the business.
Responsible for producing absence and overtime reports for monthly payroll.
Responsible for the in-putting of all payroll tasks, working closely with the Payroll Specialist and UK HR Solutions Manager
Request CRB checks from the relevant bureau for new starters where appropriate and for all other relevant employees.
Management of the recruitment approval process via Workday including checking of all requisitions raised, moving these through for approval, final sign off in the system once approval is given and the pass over of approved roles to the Recruitment Manager
Manage the probationary review process, tracking on workday and sending reminders to Managers as well as chasing associated paperwork and issuing confirmation of employment letters.
Administration of company benefits, such as enrolment and removals and changes.
Producing of all letters for employees relating to changes to the terms and conditions of their employment (e.g. change of role, change or manager, change of job title, change of salary).
General administrative tasks: ensuring that all departmental filing is up to date, completion of reference requests (e.g. employer references, mortgage references and visa references)
Skills and Experience
Experience in an HR administration role is preferred, with an interest in the field of HR
An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office is important – proficiency in Word, Excel,Email (Outlook), PowerPoint and using the Internet is essential
Excellent communication skills
Highly literate and numerate Person Specification

Able to interact with people of all levels both externally and internally Hours of Work The company’s standard hours are 37.5, between 8.30 am 5.00pm or 9.00 to 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch. However due to the nature of this role flexibility will be required in order to meet the needs of the role.
