Arrow Electronics Receptionist I in McLean, Virginia
immixGroup is seeking a receptionist to join its Corporate Operations team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a confident, quick learner, with the ability to multi-task with proficiency in MS office. This person must also be well-organized, dependable, and poised to consistently present a positive public image for the organization. He/she must be self-motivated with excellent people skills, attention to detail and reliable attendance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handles and directs incoming phone calls while maintaining proper phone etiquette
Supplies information to callers and relays messages to the appropriate recipient
Greet guests/clients as they come to the office
Interact with Executive/Senior Management, important clients and important visitors on a daily basis
Maintain conference room scheduling through Outlook
Handles all internal catering orders for our 8484 Westpark location
Setup conference rooms for meetings with refreshments and lunch when needed
Offer and serve beverages to guests
Office Hours 8:15-5:30
Notify the appropriate parties when maintenance is needed for the facility (lighting, cleaning, damages/repairs, heat/air, etc.)
Fax and mail distribution, post mail, UPS and FedEx and drop off
Order office and coffee supplies
Perform ad hoc administrative requests (expense reports, calendaring, typing, filing, faxing, etc.)
2+ years of receptionist experience in a professional services firm
Availability to work a flexible schedule during peak business cycle
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
Highly Desirable Attributes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (outlook, work, excel, power point)
Professional in appearance and attitude
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface within various levels of immixGroup
