Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate III
The Forklift Driver is responsible for moving assets/materials safely using power industrial trucks. This position supports the operation by working in one or more of the following areas: receiving, audit, recycling and shipping. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Unload and offload trucks, unbox, sort, and label product Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies and procedures. Verify asset counts, enter skids in system, build skids, palletizing equipment as needed Unit clean up, salvage, pack assets Perform asset/pallet put-away into storage racking, load trucks Identify & sort commodities in recycling center and/or special waste as per EPA and DOT regulations Ensure quantity, quality, and accuracy of throughput Ensuring equipment is in safe operating condition by appropriate equipment inspections Ensure quantity, quality, and accuracy of production levels Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures Maintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards within facility and daily work space. Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to facility-wide production & quality goals Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)required 3-5 years forklift or stock picker experience 3-5 years previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or high volume production environment Proficient computer knowledge Ability to comply with safety and quality requirements within a warehouse operation Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Strong attention to detail and be able to work well in a fast paced environment Able to stand and walk for a full 8 hour shift Able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously Ability to work overtime as needed and be flexible with shift changes. Ability to safely load, transfer, and unload pallets and skids. Ability to safely use material handling tools and equipment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Physical functions required to perform this job include lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, transporting, sorting, piling and stacking. Activities are routine and repetitive in nature.
