Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities

Under limited supervision, and training in professional Accounting principles, evaluates transactions as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. Supports internal customers and maintains/updates current financial information. Drive the development of various accounting policies and procedures, including technical accounting research to ensure the company is in compliance with US GAAP. Lead cross-functional teams on accounting/finance special projects that will require gaining an understanding of the business, the processes that support the business and working with other Arrow personnel to discover the root cause of the issue and develop a reasonable solution.

  • Become the liaison for and manage internal and external audit engagements or special projects as necessary.

  • Reporting—Responsible for producing and issuing periodic reports regarding general subject matter and or business areas, performing basic analysis when necessary for internal and external purposes.

  • Identify, document, test and remediate potential risk areas and support the maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 compliance.

  • Research of various accounting policies and procedures, including technical accounting research to ensure the company is in compliance with US GAAP.

  • Assist in providing information and documentation to internal and external audit requests.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams on accounting/finance special projects that will require gaining an understanding of the business, the processes that support the business and working with other Arrow personnel to discover the root cause of the issue and develop a reasonable solution.

  • Maintain current awareness and documentation of SOX compliance rules and regulations.

  • Filing of compliance project documentation, ensuring adherence to internal retention policies.

  • Oversee work completed by Compliance Analysts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • Public accounting and / or SEC experience

  • Efficient communication skills and ability to work with various levels of employees

  • Ability to work in fast-paced team environment under tight deadlines and with multiple priorities

  • Knowledge of and experience in accounting, auditing and SOX testing and analytical concepts

  • Proven problem resolution, analytical and decision making skills

  • Advanced MS-Office skills, preferred-Knowledge of Oracle e-business suite (11i)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Online W-desk or Merrill Bridge CPA

  • Masters in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • Experience working with international subsidiaries and related accounting issues
