Quote & Configuration Specialist

Job Description:

Main responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer requests and manage the opportunity-to-quote stream by generating, validating and distributing quotations to authorised resellers, within agreed SLA’s

  • Configure ad-hoc solutions to match customer needs, utilising support from professional services and vendors’ technical help desks to fulfil end user’s requirements

  • Interact with account / product managers, and proactively engage with customers, focusing on building and maintaining strong and effective business relationships.

  • Assist with customer technical queries and problems, directly or with the support of technical consultants and IT professionals

  • Ensure your product and process knowledge is constantly up-to-date by attending vendors and in-house training courses

Requirements:

Must have:

  • Advanced English proficiency, both verbal and written

  • Fast-paced learning curve

  • Strong drive for results and achievement of targets with ability to set priorities and manage effectively high workload

  • Good communication skills for interaction with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to respond rapidly and professionally to the demand of a high pressure commercial environment

  • High level of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks

Nice to have:

  • Professional background in sales support roles or in customer service centers

  • Previous experiences in a challenging and multicultural environment

  • Previous IT industry experience/knowledge

  • Advanced IT skills (MS Office, ERP’s and quoting tools)

  • Interest in the area of virtualization, cloud networking and enterprise computing solutions
