To continue our successful path at Converge we are now seeking in Germany for a:

Regional Sales Manager (m/f)

Your responsibility:

Due to our successful business Converge is seeking experienced sales business development to join our team in the DACH region to help with our expansion plans. The role of the Hybrid Sales/RSM is sales and target focused. You will be responsible for having Converge approved to the PSLs of the key companies in high reliability verticals in the DACH region, securing new business and also maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. You will have a team of 3 experienced sales in Dusseldorf, with the remit to add 2-3 more during 2017. It is preferable that you maintain 5-6 customers yourself, accounting for $1m in revenue.

You report to the sales director DACH, based in Munich. You maintain Converge market image by adhering to our quality and trade manifest. And you remain up to date on industry trends, market activities and the competition.

Your Profile:

An enthusiastic and a commercial attitude, a bachelor degree and/or highly successful sales experience, and be a motivated self-starter. You must be very comfortable with growth, change and have an entrepreneurial attitude to the future. Competence in English language - written and spoken - is essential, as well as diplomatic communication skills.

Furthermore you need:

  • Strong selling skills and ability to influence at all levels within external customers

  • Customer-orientation and empathy

  • Prospecting and presentation skills

  • Technical knowledge

  • Energy, creativity, and purposiveness

  • Ability to map out a customer, with all key decision makers

  • Focus and diligence to guide a customer thru the stages of vendor approval

  • German fluent written and oral

  • English fluent required
