Supplier Accounting Analyst

Job Description:

At this position, you will be one of the first employees in our new Shared Services Centre in Gdańsk - this will be the unique possibility to take an active role in creating a brand new organization on the local market.

The Supplier Accounting Analyst is responsible for investigating queries from Suppliers on ship and debit and price protection, and investigating the specific discounts the company receives from the Supplier. As the company has a whole range of contracts with Suppliers, resulting in different margin, ship and debit and price protection investigations into discrepancies. This role requires an ‘investigative mindset’, and your day will involve liaising directly with Suppliers and internal departments.

Typical tasks, you would be engaged with, during a common working day: solving complex problems related to inventory levels and cost movements, ensuring accurate costs are available for EMEA Sales team to quote, working independently to reconcile and report all Supplier Accounting related GL accounts at period end, producing aging reports and calculate month end provisions, reporting movements and impact up to EMEA Vice President level, margin reconciliation and adjustments, maintaining the Supplier Trade Profiles for all Ship & Debit and/or Price Protected Trade Suppliers, processing and settling Supplier Accounting Claims with Trade Suppliers.

Supplier Accounting Analyst reports directly to Supplier Accounting Team Leader and cooperate with a team of 9 other colleagues on daily basis.

We will start work with very intensive induction training, possibly provided in UK. This training will last for approx. 2 weeks. Besides induction we will also offer additional trainings customized to the employee needs.
