Warehouse Associate Lead

Job Description:

  • In cooperation with Department supervisor, monitor and measure hourly, daily and monthly performance goals and objectives

  • monitor performance goals

  • research and resolve problems

  • Work with supervisor and employees to improve quality continuously

  • Become involved in and support supervisor in reporting requirements

  • track and analyze efficiency

  • provide direction

  • track and analyze hourly, daily and monthly performance indicators

  • coordinate department scheduling

  • provide input to supervisor regarding area employees

  • encourage employee communication

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 2-3 years warehouse, logistics, distribution or related experience

  • Prior leadership experience

  • ability to drive a forklift and/or stock picker

  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds on a regular basis

  • Ability to work daily overtime and/or on Saturdays as needed

  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel

  • Demonstrated communication, people, leadership and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated sound business judgment, ethics, and professionalism

  • Demonstrated ability to master change, multi-task, deal with ambiguity and handle conflict

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA or AS degree

  • ASW experience
