Senior Oracle Systems Engineer

As a member of the Systems team, our newest team member will be passionate about developing scalable and secure solutions to achieve business needs and will be involved in all aspects of the platform architecture lifecycle.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitors current and future trends, technology and information that will positively affect organizational projects; applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture
Evaluation and implementation of new technologies on platforms supporting Oracle Applications and related application integrating with WebLogic and Java.
Collaborate with development, dba, and infrastructure teams to design and develop highly reliable and scalable solutions and platforms.
Participate in architectural reviews providing technical expertise along with ensuring design coincides with enterprise best practices.
Proactive management of the Oracle Applications environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Focus on continuous improvement to systems health, performance, security, and availability.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including comprehension and verbal skills, written communication, conflict resolution, teamwork, and relationship building.
Ability to communicate technical decisions to non-technical audiences and build consensus around them
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage Oracle Application performance – including application tuning and environment analysis.
Experience with OEM in Oracle Applications system support – including utilization of ARW
Demonstrated experience in the implementation and support of Oracle Applications including Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle workflow, XML Publisher, Forms, ADF, APEX, and WebLogic.
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL/PLSQL performance tuning.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with support teams including DBA, Infrastructure, and Development.
Ability to work independently on development projects.
8+ years of experience with Oracle 11i/R12 applications.
4+ years of experience as a senior developer / application architect of enterprise level initiatives.
4+ years of software development experience that includes PLSQL, ADF, Java.
