At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Tax Coordinator. This position will play a significant role in areas of direct and indirect tax reporting, as well as any tax administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with collecting tax-related information including reviewing tax correspondence, overseeing the tax calendar, and preparing various tax compliance filings at the federal, state, country and local levels in a timely manner.

  • Assist with analysis of various tax accounts, general ledger reports to prepare appropriate tax reconciliations throughout the year.

  • Assist with maintaining tax systems, tax files, legal entity organizational charts, tax department websites and tax work-papers to comply with internal and external tax reporting guidelines.

  • Assist with tracking and managing tax regulatory audit inquiries.

  • Execute tax clerical, administrative and supportive duties by working closely with colleagues from tax and other finance departments. This may include expense reporting and invoice processing, ordering supplies, managing incoming mail, calendar coordination etc.

  • Cultivate working relationships across functional areas to encourage two-way dialogue on any potential tax consequences related to contemplated business activities or transactions.

  • Working knowledge of process for reporting, collecting, and paying taxes

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency MS Office Suite

  • Experienced in public or private accounting industry (1-3 years)
