Arrow Electronics Material Planner in Foothill Ranch, California
● Plan and pipeline inventory for low to medium complex customer demand—lower dollar value and/or lower part count.
● Review backlog and shortage reports to assure uninterrupted supply of inventory. Tools would include backlog matching, shortage reports and the Arrow flex reports with minimum customer interaction.
● Prepare Arrow generated forecasts for e-compass. Upload and manage the exceptions generated from the e-compass processing.
● Maintain manual bonds to assure interrupted availability of inventory.
You will be involved with:
Understanding a customer's MRP for pipeline evaluation
Analyzing a customer's buying patterns against forecasts
Analyzing/adjusting product pipelines
Evaluating a customer's forecast information and making recommendations
Communicating with product management teams to support and relay customer requirements
Managing inventory to financial goals
Data compilation, comparison and analysis
Entering and maintaining sales order and expediting product delivery
Process purchase order change requests/schedules
Successful candidates must have:
College degree or equivalent training/experience
Possesses the ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to execute a detailed plan to produce efficient and profitable solutions
Able to create influential relationships with internal and external customers
The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external resources to get results
The ability to understand and evaluate metrics and apply process improvement metrics
Strong communication skills, proficient with Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
