ABOUT THE ROLE

At this position, you will be joining a newly created team in our EMEA Shared Services Centre in Gdańsk - this will be the unique possibility to take an active role in creating a brand new organization on the local market. The primary aim of this role is to provide support and guidance to the payroll processes for EMEA Region. This position will play an active role in the transformation of the payroll function at Arrow.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your duties will include but are not restricted to:

  • Interfacing, reconciling and processing payroll information received from outside sources and vendors.

  • Ensuring quality control of employee data and financial information as well as preserve data integrity of vendor data.

  • Providing guidance to the payroll process by maintaining the payroll audit database.

  • Through advanced understanding of database structure, resolving payroll related queries and issues.

  • Creating new databases and complex queries.

  • Troubleshooting errors associated with general ledger and other financial systems.

  • Maintaining database of reports, account reconciliation of payroll data for the accounting department.

  • Creating ad-hoc reports, implement adjustments to existing reports (as needed) and provide data analysis to the Human Resources and Payroll departments.

  • Monitoring and maintaining data analysis between payroll and HR.

  • Assisting in quarter-end and year-end processes, implementing and maintaining taxable wages audit for taxes.

  • Researching and resolving any discrepancies by making adjustments within the payroll systems.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 2-4 years’ experience working in a fast-paced Payroll function.

  • Working knowledge of payroll processes and practice in at least 2 countries

  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar experience.

  • Experience in cooperating with payroll vendors.

  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision

  • Effective team-working and strong communication skills.

  • Knowledge of any additional language will be more than welcome.
