HR Manager, Talent Management and Learning
As part of the Center of Excellence (CoE), this position is responsible for the implementation of key talent management and learning strategies and global offerings, such as: Talent & Succession Management, Performance Management and Learning and Development Programs – in close collaboration with HR Business Partners in the APAC region. The key responsibilities include:
Manage Arrow’s core learning programs, courses, and curriculum that support Arrow employee capability building and development.
Manage the eLearning platform, to include the design of the platform, maintenance of the platform, and in conjunction with global employee capability technology platforms team, the functionality of the platform. Additionally, oversee the portals built to house content and evaluate options for keeping Portals up-to-date.
Establish relationships with vendors for the design and delivery of training. Manage existing vendor relationships and corresponding contracts.
Manage metrics and measurement related to learning participation, program offerings, etc., to include identifying and providing the learning metrics for HR internal quarterly reporting package.
Drive the implementation of talent review & succession planning, leadership development, and career development. Continually monitor the talent pipeline and bench strength to address gaps.
Drive the annual Performance Management Process from goal setting to year-end review and calibration.
Ensure managers are enabled to lead Performance Management Process by providing appropriate tools and timely communication/ training.
Stay abreast of business trends and developments via attending business meetings, relationships with HR Business Partners, vendor learning sessions, CEB HR membership, etc.
Solid understanding of key leadership concepts and learning methodologies including assessments, high-potentials career development, web-based training, digital learning, 360 feedback & coaching.
Experienced trainer and facilitator with strong communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
Experienced in planning, organizing and delivering a wide range of training activities e.g. training needs analysis, assessment centres, workshops and teambuilding.
Able to build cross-functional and cross-business relationships and work effectively across multiple countries and cultures.
Experience / Education
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a learning or talent management role with a Bachelor degree.
- This position is based in Hong Kong and reports to the Director of Talent Management and Learning for Asia Pac.
