Principal Accountabilities

● The Production Technician I is responsible for performing low complexity builds of computing products in accordance with build plan. Installs system hardware and components.

● Prepare product for assembly; kit and package product.

● Prepare product for assembly; kit and package product.

● Perform builds of low complexity products according to build plan; install system hardware and components.

● Identify and process non-conforming material.

● Maintain product documentation; capture component and system serial numbers.

● Create and apply product labeling.

Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, plus some technical training required. 1-3 years experience required.

Skills and Competencies: Team player and detail oriented. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare product for assembly. Build product and identify non-conforming issues. Test product and software leads. Package, process and transfer product. Other duties as assigned.
