Pre Sales Security Engineer

The Enterprise Security Sales Engineer (SE) will work alongside and report directly to the head of engineering, as part of the wider Sales Team and oversee the sales support of Arrow’s products, specifically focussed on enterprise security. The SE is an integral part of the sales organization and assists the sales team with pre-sales technical knowledge, presentations, partner enablement and relationship building within our partner base, and named enterprise accounts.
The SE works closely with Arrow’s channel managers, prospects and partners as a subject-matter technical expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements, as well as selling and promoting the wider Arrow value proposition.
The candidate must have a proven background in networking
technology with specialisation in IT security and working in the enterprise security arena.
The Enterprise Security Sales Engineer requires an individual who is driven to achieve results in a high paced strategic environment showing a commitment to progress both career and personally with a strong focus on increasing Arrow’s exposure in Enterprise accounts.
The successful candidate will need to possess the skills
and capability to work within a peer arrangement with Sales
Engineers in other geographical regions. Hence organisational skills and coordination within a team to achieve successful outcomes and KPI delivery is a strong preference.
Core competencies required for this role:
· Significate Experience in F5 Networks or other enterprise security product set, including technical certifications.
· Experience in enterprise related security sales and strategic commercial engagements.
· Bachelor's Degree in computer science, or equivalent proven industry experience
- Stand out applicant would have technical certifications across, Certified in LTM (advanced), GTM, and Enterprise Manager. Additional F5 technologies (ASM, FP, WAM, etc) a plus
