Working within the Marketing Department responsible for vendors within the Arrow Data Intelligence portfolio you will be required to perform a range of duties.

Duties will include but are not restricted to:

  • M a i n respons i b ili ty: Executing marketing activities for vendors within the Arrow Data Intelligence portfolio, part of the Solutions practice. These are vendors which have marketing funds to spend on a quarterly basis. Marketing proposals and plans will be required and the execution of agreed marketing campaigns will have to be undertaken by the Marketing Manager. All ROI statistics and reports will have to be fed back to the vendors along with the invoice and other supporting information for claiming. You will also be required to manage the budget of these vendors, tracking the budget and ensure zero exposure to the business.

  • A dm i n i st r atio n : Working with the marketing administration team toensure all admin and creation of MAFs (internal marketing admin system), submission of pre-approvals on vendor’s websites, claiming of marketing campaigns and tracking of all back-up paperwork, suppliers’ invoices and proof of performance for Vendor claims.

  • Bud g et: Manage and track all marketing spend and ensure no roll off of funding from vendor accruals. Ensure budget is allocated to the correct resources and spent in alignment with forecasted timeframes to guarantee consistent ROI. To monitor, track and record marketing spend vs budget.

  • Lead mana g ement: Manage the process for allocation and management of leads passed through our resellers (online Sales Lead Portal) and provide assistance to the marketing manager in following up leads with resellers and putting together ROI reports to supply to our vendors in support of their funding.

  • S oc i al M ed i a and D i gi t a l M arketing: Manage and co-ordinate your own social media marketing and digital marketing campaigns to get the most out of your campaigns

  • E ma i l M arketing and Commun i catio n s: Working with relevant vendor specialists to ensure there is regular communication to the Channel via Arrow’s HUB communication platform. Ensuring these communications are sent out on a timely basis to our channel partners. This involves collating the information and entering it into relevant HUB templates and the email system (email service for distributing, tracking and reporting all external email communications) for formatting and sending the email. Working on ad-hoc projects, such as "one-off" emails which are invariably needed for focus weeks and sudden promotions, working with the marketing team internally on the creation of these and scheduling of the emails through our email communication tool. You will also be required to prepare, collate and send regular updates via email system to our reseller databases – new product releases/updates, news items, special offers, competitive information, sales tips on security and networks.

  • Webs i te: Making sure all relevant web pages are up to date on the Arrow ECS website. This includes liaising with all relevant vendors.

  • Database / contacts management: keeping internal reseller database up to date at all times – liaising with Business Development Managers/Account Managers on regular basis in relation to changes on Reseller contact details and interests so that we can effectively communicate the right message to the right contact. Updating Eloqua system (marketing automation tool) with appropriate interests if necessary.

  • Co ll atera l s: Keep marketing collateral up to date and monitor stock levels to ensure that marketing information is available to Arrow ECS sales staff at all times. If necessary send out information packs

on behalf of sales.

  • Re l atio n sh i ps: Developing and building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders including resellers and vendors.

  • Rese ll er campa ig ns: When required, delivering and executing marketing initiatives for relevant Channel Partners – gaining maximum ROI for Arrow ECS and the Partner.

  • E v ents and se m i nars: Organising and co-ordinating regular reseller events for the vendors you are responsible for. This may also be required as part of the Solutions message to market and include multiple vendor sponsorships. Responsibilities will cover booking of event space/rooms, technical resource if required, management of all the delegate registrations, running of the event and post-event follow up activity as required, for example thank you emails, preparing follow up plans with relevant vendor teams, reporting back ROI and so on.

  • Reporting: Primarily supporting the Data Intelligence business unit, but will be required to support other Vendor Specialists and External Account Managers as and when required.
